The Idea

The idea of making the “meeting cary brothers” site was like an epiphany. It smacked me in the face like a wave crashing into the shore. Literally. I was in the ocean off the beaches of Wildwood, NJ, getting slapped in the face by waves, surrounded by middle America and Quebec, wondering how strangely poetic my situation was. [Smack] Knock the water out of my ears. It occurs to me how much Cary Brothers has affected me. How his timing is good or that by some freak accident the stars aligned or that maybe there is a "higher entity" playing with me.

I don't know if Cary knows how much he touches people. He touches people literally in the physical sense, metaphorically and poetically as he physically touches them. A person doesn't need to save all the dying children of Africa or teach adults to read to make a difference. Of course he's a “swell” guy and he probably would but... You can make a difference by giving a person a sense of worth, by validating them. Cary does this. He touches lives one by one. I've seen him do it one person at a time. There's no doubt that he touches people through his music. It's the man himself that makes the experience that much more special.
